Law and order: Terrorists on back foot, says Rajwana

“The entire nation supports political and military leaders’ efforts against terrorism,” he said

Governor Rafiq Rajwana said on Tuesday Operation Zarb-i-Azb was heading in the right direction as the armed forces had claimed major achievements in the the country’s war against terrorism.


The governor was speaking to Corp Commander Lt General Naveed Zaman at Governor’s House. The two leaders discussed the law and order situation.

“The entire nation supports political and military leaders’ efforts against terrorism,” he said. He said Pakistan Army was doing its best to maintain peace.

“Representation of our army contingents in the United Nations’ peace keeping missions is more than any other nation’s,” he said. “Our armed forces are ranked among the best in the world. Their professional competence and capabilities are acknowledged worldwide.”
