Dsp Zulfiqar Zaidi Case: CJ rejects police chief's report on killing

CJ Arab directed the city police chief to submit a detailed report about the progress in the case

KARACHI: Sindh High Court Chief Justice (CJ) Faisal Arab has rejected the Karachi police chief's report about the murder of DSP Zulfiqar Zaidi, the high court's security advisor. Unidentified motorcyclists shot dead Zaidi and his friend, Shahzad, at a hotel in Shah Faisal Colony on May 9. Taking notice of the killing, the CJ had directed Karachi AIG Ghulam Qadir Thebo to submit a report about the incident. Sources told The Express Tribune on Tuesday that Thebo filed a report that did not show any progress in the investigation by the police so far. CJ Arab directed the city police chief to submit a detailed report about the progress in the case.
