Under construction: Trauma centre to be completed by Jun 4

KARACHI: The under-construction trauma centre in Civil Hospital, Karachi, will be completed before June 4, said provincial health minister Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar on Monday. Speaking to the media during his visit to the hospital, Dahar expressed his annoyance over the delay in the construction work. He said in the future, they will be able to cater to patients’ trauma requirements, not only in Karachi, but also in other parts of Sindh. While addressing a seminar on the ‘Dangers of Radiation and Safety Measurements’ at the hospital, he said awareness about the dangers of radiological rays to medical staff as well as the general public is very important.
