Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah claimed on Sunday that the government has completely eliminated extortion from Karachi, adding that "only one extortionist is left" and would be apprehended soon.

Reacting to mounting criticism and resignation calls over his failure to avert the Safora Goth tragedy, Sindh Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah has announced to issue a ‘policy statement’ in the Sindh Assembly tomorrow.

Addressing the media on Sunday, Shah said the Karachi Operation has complete support of the armed forces and added that the Apex Committee of Sindh includes representatives of the military.

'Evidence of RAW involvement in Safora tragedy found'

The chief minister reiterated that premier Indian spy agency RAW was behind the terrorist incident in Karachi. “Investigation into Safora incident is under way at a good pace, while intelligence agencies have found evidence of the agency’s involvement.”

On being called a ‘captain’ of Karachi, he said he holds the position as chief minister and that the rank of captain belongs to the military, not him.

Regarding PPP firebrand leader Zulfiqar Mirza’s recent astonishing appearance in court, the CM said ‘there must have been somebody igniting and mentoring him’.

Shah also subjected Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman, Imran Khan to severe criticism, asking him to "handle the affairs of the province governed by him and stop interfering in other matters".

The chief minister had earlier defended his performance in the wake of the gruesome Safora tragedy, saying "he would have resigned if he had not delivered."

When u know RAW is there every where why u suspended the SSP who spoke against RAW he should have been promoted instead.
