Public Menace: Fraudulent business directors arrested

The three were arrested after being found in a hidden room in the basement of their residence

KARACHI: The National Accountability Bureau (Nab) arrested on Friday directors Ehsan Shah Shirazi and Syed Azhar Hussain Shirazi and agent Shah Abdul Qadir of Sunland Crops Care on charges of fraud. According to Nab official Qudsia Kadri, the arrested directors collected millions of rupees from hundreds of innocent people under the guise of an Islamic investment business. The accused offered attractive monthly profit under the pretext of an interest-free business, which was only paid for a few months. The three were arrested after being found in a hidden room in the basement of their residence.
