Fawad Khan charms Alia and Sidharth on the sets of 'Kapoor and Sons'

The shooting of Fawad Khan's upcoming Bollywood film Kapoor and Sons began earlier this week. On day one there was not much action, except for a few light-hearted sequences, but there was plenty of interaction as the cast and crew got to know each other.

Alia and Sidharth Malhotra have worked together in the past and are even rumoured to be dating, but Fawad Khan is new to Bollywood, Kapoor and Sons being only his second film. Times of India quoted a source as staying that, despite not knowing one another, Fawad made a very positive impression on both Alia and Sid. According to the source, Sidharth and Fawad "bonded like long-lost friends" and Alia too was full of praise for his performance in Khoobsurat.


Fawad and Sidharth play brothers who fancy the same girl, played by Alia, in the film.  The trio will shoot together during the Mumbai schedule after which the film moves to the scenic hill station of Conoor in the South where a major chunk of the film will be shot, according to Times of India.

The lead cast took to Twitter to announce their excitement on the day shooting began.
