RAWALPINDI:
A gang of armed robbers struck at a cattlepen in the Saddar Bairuni area of Rawalpindi and made away with buffaloes and cows worth hundreds of thousands of rupees. The masked robbers broke into the cattlepen in Thelian Village in the small hours of Thursday and held the guard hostage as they loaded 10 buffaloes and three cows on a truck and drove away. The police registered a case against the robbers but have made no arrests or recoveries yet.
