The 68th Annual Cannes Film Festival saw a bevy of Hollywood and Bollywood beauties leading the fashion on the red carpet on the first night. The ladies looked sensational in their glitzy gowns as they showed up at the Grand Theatre Lumiere, Paris Wednesday evening. Hitting the floor in all their glory, here are the looks that grabbed our interest.

Katrina Kaif

The Bang Bang star looked banging-hot as she strutted down in a black ensemble at the prestigious occasion. For her debut appearance at the film festival, Katrina wore a well-fitted, off-shoulder Oscar De La Renta Fall 2015 black and nude mesh gown that featured a low-cut bustier. The actor struck a glamorous pose with minimum make-up and side-swept hair, but her newly tinted red tresses dampened down her overall look.

Karlie Kloss

Demonstrating her modelling prowess, the Victoria’s Secret model oozed sensuality in her shimmering silver and white dress. Sporting an Atelier Versace Couture gown, the supermodel was thinking out-of-the-box, stepping far away from the typical elegant ballroom gown. The dress comprised a daring thigh-split, teamed with buckles on her toned hip. The glittery details of her attire were quick to catch our eye.

Natalie Portman

Keeping it low-key but no less stunning was Natalie. Donning a satiny column-shaped strapless crimson gown, the Black Swan star emitted class and sophistication. The bust of the classic number was cut in a triangular style, with the sleek body of the dress clinging to her slender curves, before falling straight down in a floor-kissing fashion. With her hair tucked behind her ear, we caught a glimpse of her dazzling diamond earrings.
