Hilly Terrain : Woman plunges to death

HARIPUR: A woman died after falling in a deep ravine in a remote village of Rehana union council, Haripur, said police on Monday. Quoting Banaras, a resident of Chapra village, police said his wife Mazlooma Jan, 55, left home on Sunday to take their goats for grazing to a mountain. According to Banaras, his wife’s routine was to take the goats for grazing in the morning and she would usually return around noon. However, on Sunday the animals returned at the usual time but Mazlooma was not with them. Banaras said the family went searching for her and spotted her in a ravine. He added they managed to retrieve her and took her to a hospital where doctors confirmed she died of multiple head injuries.
