Tragedy strikes: Couple killed in roof collapse

The family was in the house when the roof caved in around 8pm Saturday night

BATTAGRAM: A couple was killed when the roof of their house collapsed in a remote village of Battagram’s Jhamera Allai union council. According to the police, Hakeem Khan’s family was in the house when the roof caved in around 8pm Saturday night, killing two people and injuring two others. Rescue workers pulled out the bodies and the injured and shifted them to District Headquarters Hospital Battagram. The deceased were identified as Nawab Khan and his wife Hajra Bibi, while Shahida Bibi and a child were injured.
