RAWALPINDI:

Faulty air conditioners at the District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi have become a bane for critical patients admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital.

Sources said the air conditioners at the ICU have not been working for the last several days but the hospital administration has turned a deaf ear to the issue despite several complaints by attendants.

The source said as many as three patients have lost their lives due to suffocation and high temperature in the last three days but the administration has failed to get the non-functioning air-conditioners fixed.

When an administrator was contacted, he claimed that they were working on fixing the fault.
