Minister CADD Barrister Usman Ibrahim on Thursday allowed schools and colleges to purchase CCTV cameras and other security equipment.
He gave the approval at a meeting attended by CADD Secretary Khalid Hanif, FDE Director-General Shahnaz Riaz and other officials.
The meeting authorised the FDE DG to further empower the schools and colleges to purchase the security system for themselves.
