Precautions: ‘Canal development works underway’

BAHAWALPUR: Minister for Irrigation Mian Yawar Zaman said the government was revamping the canal system.

He was talking to a delegation of farmers while reviewing a wheat procurement campaign in Bahawalpur. He said some 52 small dams had been built in Potohar area and steps were being taken for better management of flood water in Sialkot and Narowal.
