Strict Measures: Crackdown on ghost employees
Langho advised employees to follow duty timings and perform their responsibilities with honesty and dedication
KARACHI:
The Karachi South District Municipal Corporation (DMC) administrator, Mir Farooq Langho, has said that ghost employees are a menace and they will not be tolerated at any cost. Speaking at the inauguration of the biometric system and CCTV camera control centre at the DMC main office on Thursday, he said that this system has been introduced to identify ghost employees and absentees. He said that three zones of DMC South, Saddar, Lyari and Keamari, will be linked to this system very soon, which will help curb irregularities. He warned that those employees who are not performing their official duties will have their salaries withheld and will be sacked. Langho advised employees to follow duty timings and perform their responsibilities with honesty and dedication.
