Historians’ moot: Call for promoting study of history

Speakers at a moot here on Thursday argued that the discipline of history, despite being a classical subject, was not given the importance it deserved.


Over 100 prominent historians, university and college teachers belonging to the twin cities attended the one-day moot at the Quaid-i-Azam University.


QAU VC Dr Javed Ashraf who was the chief guest at the event, assured that he would try his best to secure maximum scholarships from the HEC and international institutions for the university’s the history department.
