‘Urs depends on security situation, construction’
The decision of holding the Urs would be taken after taking security and construction work into consideration
Auqaf Department Manager Zahoor Ahmad on Tuesday said the first phase of expansion and reconstruction of the Bari Imam Shrine, which started in April 2008, is likely to complete this month, after which the second phase which includes landscaping, road construction and electrical works will start.
The decision of holding the Urs would be taken after taking security and construction work into consideration, he added. Saeed Ahmad, a devotee from Mandi Bahauddin, said the Urs should be held as early as possible.
