KARACHI: Condemning a resolution in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Parliament against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain, the party’s coordination committee lambasted parliamentarians, said that if they had any respect for the army, they would have passed a similar resolution against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf cheif Imran Khan who had called Army generals 'cowards.'

In a press statement, the MQM said that members of K-P assembly should have also passed resolutions against former JI chief Munawar Hasan who had called Taliban killed in fighting the state martyrs.

They added that this resolution shows that parliamentarians have no interest in the armed forces, instead they wish to malign the MQM and hurt sentiments of Muhajirs.
