The PAT would not compromise the killing of its workers

LAHORE: The Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) announced on Sunday that the party would observe black day on May 11 for not getting justice over the killing of its workers in Model Town last year. The PAT would also protest in Islamabad on May 17 and across the country on June 17, PAT President Raheeq Abbasi said after a meeting of the party’s federal council. He said a fair probe into the killings was not possible in the presence of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. The PAT would not compromise the killing of its workers, he said. Abbasi criticised the government for ‘failing’ to check inflation and end load shedding. He said the criticism of the army was not acceptable.
