Deadly accident: Teenager overrun by bus

LAHORE: A teenager was killed and his cousin injured on Sunday after a speeding bus ran them over in Misri Shah. Police said Hamza, an intermediate student, and his cousin were riding a bike near Aik Moria Pul. “A speeding bus hit them. They fell on the road. Hamza was run over by the bus and died on the spot,” police said. Rescue 1122 took the injured boy to a hospital. The bus driver fled. The body was handed over to the family in Shadbagh after an autopsy.
