Violent fight: Man beats wife, shaves off hair

BAHAWALPUR:

A man beat his wife and shaved her hair following an argument near Hasilpur City police station on Saturday.

A police spokesman said Mariam Bibi had been married to Tahir Ali a few years ago. He said the couple had two daughters. He said the woman had told them that they often quarrelled over domestic issues. He said Bibi had an argument with her husband last week and gone over to live at her aunt’s house in Chak-62 Fateh.

He said on Friday night, Tahir went to her aunt’s house and took her to his friend’s house located in Chak 18 where he beat her following another argument and shaved her hair.
