Cultural entertainment: Camel cart service launched

BAHAWALPUR: A camel cart service was launched from Fareed Gate to Fawara Chowk in Bahawalpur on Friday. The service would be available from 7pm to 10 pm every evening. Rs10 will be charged for a single journey. The service had been launched by the Cholistan Development Council and Bahawalpur’s district government. Minister for Cooperatives Muhammad Iqbal Channar inaugurated the camel cart service. Talking to newsmen on the occasion, Channar said the provincial government was taking steps to develop Bahawalpur. He said steps were being taken for beautification of the city.  He said camel cart service would provide cultural entertainment to citizens of the district. He said cultural activities should be promoted.
