Temporary relief: Theft accused granted bail

A servant suspected of stealing Rs250,000 from the residence of his employer was released on Friday on bail worth Rs50,000 by a duty magistrate. The magistrate granted bail to Muhammad Asif, against a Rs50,000 bond. According to details, things at the house had started going missing soon after the suspect had been hired. Naseem, Asif’s employer, had initially turned a blind-eye to the happenings till he had stolen cash from the residence a few days ago. Naseem had filed an FIR at the Green Town police station against him in the wake of the development.
