National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa has arrested Gul Khatab, an employee of NAB K-P on the charges of corruption.

Khatab has been accused of taking bribes from people to help them with cases registered against them by the bureau. According to press release issued on Thursday, the arrest warrant of the accused was issued by the director general of NAB K-P. NAB is the apex anti-corruption body in the country and keeps a check on its employees, lest they are involved in corrupt practices, the statement added. As per the instructions of NAB Chairman Qamar Zaman Chaudhry, the bureau has zero tolerance against corruption and has hence taken the step of taking its own employee to task, it further said.
