
He met the medical superintendents of teaching and other government hospitals at his office and reviewed measures for treating mourners.
The minister ordered all casualty and emergency departments to be working round-the-clock from Muharram 8 onwards and asked the MS to set up medical camps along the routes of the processions.
A central camp will be set up at Numaish Chowk along with a central control room with one doctor and one paramedic. The minister directed officers to personally visit hospitals during Ashura.
