Voting Day: Low youth turn out observed

LAHORE: Youth wings of both PML-N and PTI were canvassing for votes for their candidates during the election campaign in the city’s two cantonment boards that ended on April 23.  However, youth participation was relatively low during the election day on Saturday. The number of middle-aged and senior voters was disproportionately higher than young voters at the polling stations visited by this scribe.   Very few youth wings members of parties were seen campaigning for their candidates.
