Qrf Mobile Attack: Constable succumbs to his injuries

PESHAWAR: One of the policemen injured in the blast near Gulbahar police station on Friday breathed his last later the same day. Constable Daud Khan succumbed to his injuries late in the evening after a surgery at Lady Reading Hospital. Khan, the son of Nadir, was from Ghazagai in Charsadda. On Friday morning, an explosive device planted inside a flower pot exploded, injuring five police offices and four civilians. The act was declared a targeted attack on the quick response force mobile unit which usually passed the spot where the bomb was planted. Later one of the injured civilians was taken from the hospital for interrogation.
