Obituary: Ahmad Saeed Awan passes away

FAISALABAD:
Former minister for information and broadcasting Malik Saeed Awan passed away on Thursday early morning. He was 64. Awan was a member of the Pakistan Peoples Party and was elected to the national assembly in 1988.
He became a judge of Lahore High Court in 1994 but was relieved due to the judgment of the Al-Jihad Trust Case. His funeral prayers were offered at Al-Fateh Ground in Peoples Colony.
