China’s stable development is closely linked to assistance and support from the rest of the world and, at the same time, the world’s progress and prosperity cannot be separated from China’s contribution. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China in 1949, and especially since reforms and an open policy was adopted over 30 years ago, great changes have taken place in China. The country’s social and economic development has improved greatly and the exchange rate between China and other countries and regions has reached a record high. China has integrated itself into the international community in a holistic way.

Meanwhile, China’s development not only benefits the rest of the world, but has also made important contributions to the world’s peace and development. Being the world’s second-largest economy, China has not only provided a great amount of commodities of good quality and at reasonable price to customers all over the world, but has also created great employment opportunity for other countries. Lots of overseas Chinese students stimulate the development of education in the relevant countries. Many estate-buyers from China have vigorously promoted the weak estate industry in Western countries.

According to figures issued by the IMF, since the eruption of the international financial crisis, China’s economic growth amount occupies one-fourth of that of the world’s total. The value of the importing commodity by China will hit the high of $10 trillion in the next five years. New foreign investment in the country will reach $500 billion. The numbers of visitors to other countries will be 400 million. While China achieves its quick development, it also brings a great opportunity for development to the rest of world.

Since the Industrial Revolution, the survival of the fittest seems to have become a rule of international practice. The world has not become tranquil because of economic globalisation, as the state of fierce competing interests, controlled by some main economies, still exists. It is reassuring to realise that in facing the recent international financial crisis, the West and the East, as well as developed and developing countries quickly responded, showing joint efforts and fully utilising the G-20, the IMF, and the World Bank, etc. as important mechanisms and platforms for the macro-controlling and stable development of the world economy.

As a responsible member of the international community, China is ready to join hands with the rest of the world to keep on upholding the spirit of mutual trust, inclusiveness and win-win cooperation, actively promoting the common will of the peaceful co-existence of mankind, establishing a new relationship of development with different partners on the basis of equality and mutual benefit, and laying a solid foundation for long- term stable development of the global economy in order to maintain world peace, stability, prosperity and development. This will enable people to have a better chance to share development achievements.

Experiencing unprecedented huge changes, the present world is being covered by a piece of an invisible giant net, under which China and the rest of the world are more closely linked with each other. The higher the level of coexistence, the more frequent is the connection between countries.

Confronting the complex situation of the world and the unfurling challenges of globalisation, it is suggested that relevant countries give up cut-throat competitiveness, stop playing a zero-sum game, respect other countries’ reasonable concerns while pursuing their own national interests, and seek common development together with other countries.

There are no 'some' Sir but only one who is desperately trying to control other economies to live on the past abut if the European negotiators do not betray their people by signing on the dots as proposed by the USA in free trade agreement with the largest economy of the world. Competition is always healthy for the economy since it encourages innovation, creativity and productivity all necessary to improve the living standard of people which the author will agree is in the ulmate interest of all countries in the world. China is making a great progress and requires larger spectrum of consumers and it is wisely embarked on the plan to stregnthen the infra structure of weaker economies in the neighbouring countries and those in Africa. This is wise and is bound to pay of, provided there is peace which is at risk lately. Let us hope that peace returns to those countries as well which have suffered destabilisation because of military interventions.. Rex Minor
M Saleem Chaudhry | 9 years ago | Reply It's a very enlightening brief by Dr.Mu with the highlights of future projections of economic contribution and potential of China. His projection of $10Trillion import in next five years by China, $500Billions foreign investment in China and 400 million Chinese travel abroad are enough to indicate future position of as the super economic power. China has already established Asian infrastructure investment bank with a base capital of $75billions ,as an alternate source of funds to World bank for development projects which has been joined by 75 countries so far.
