Maintaining order: ‘Foolproof security in Bahawalpur’

BAHAWALPUR:

RPO Ehsan Sadiq said on Saturday that foolproof security arrangements had been made at Quaid-i-Azam Solar Park, imambargahs, mosques, churches and educational institutions.

He was speaking to journalists. Sadiq said security arrangements would be made even more stringent across Bahawalpur range. He said strict action would be taken against officials found guilty of bringing the force into disrepute. Sadiq said no tolerance would be shown on this account and such officials would be held accountable for their actions.

The RPO said the policing system was being modernised and the force was being equipped with state-of-the-art technology. He said police stations across the range would be upgraded. Sadiq said the provision of basic facilities to the people and officials was a priority of the department.
