Letter April 17, 2015
Authorities should break their silence on this issue, otherwise, it will simply increase the anxieties of CSS aspirant

LAHORE: The news of changes in the Central Superior Services (CSS) syllabus has been a general topic of discussion since last year. Different unofficial groups on Facebook revealed this information recently. Most CSS aspirants have already commenced their preparation for the tough task of this competitive examination in line with the old syllabus.

The candidates who have prepared for their exams in accordance with the old syllabus will feel themselves on the horn of a dilemma amid the news of changes in the syllabus.

The authorities should realise the seriousness and sensitivity of this matter and should clearly confirm or deny the news of changes in the syllabus. They should break their silence on this issue, otherwise, it will simply increase the anxieties of CSS aspirants. Moreover, official news on the part of the Federal Public Service Commission will be a breath of fresh air for all those new candidates who are still confused about the selection of optional subjects.
