Euroasia exposure: Textile manufacturers visit Turkey

Pakistani premium exhibitors showcased their products in Lütfi Kirdar International Convention & Exhibition Center

KARACHI: Two Pakistani companies – Rauf Textile & Printing Mills and Siddiqsons – participated in the Texworld, a textile exhibition recently concluded in Istanbul, Turkey. Pakistani premium exhibitors have showcased their products in Lütfi Kirdar International Convention & Exhibition Center during the three-day exhibition which was held from April 7–9. Consul General of Pakistan in Istanbul Dr Yousaf Junaid also visited the exhibition. Pakistani exhibitors say that new textile manufacturing opportunities are being created in the Turkish market, which is a positive development not only for Turkey but also for neighbouring markets. The event offered an opportunity to Pakistani manufacturers to showcase their products in an exhibition where buyers from Turkey, Middle East, Central Asia, Russia, Eastern Europe and North Africa were present. Around 150 exhibitors participated in the first edition of Texworld who came from Turkey, as well as other leading fabrics and accessories manufacturing nations.
