Addressing a news conference at the press club on Thursday, Niaz said the protests of student activists are meaningless as the party’s manifesto prevents them from participating in these elections. He said the only purpose of PTI’s student wing is to propagate the party’s message within educational institutions of the country.
The IYW Bannu president said the district parliamentary board is being led by PTI district president Matiullah Khan and is being advised by Special Assistant to CM Shah Muhammad Khan and former MNA Malik Nasir Khan.
Niaz added the board received over 500 applications for Bannu’s 49 union councils which he said is evident of the party’s popularity.
Answering a question, Niaz denied allegations of differences between party office bearers over the distribution of tickets. He said those portraying the strife are only playing into the hands of conspirators. Niaz added that ISF members will be taken into confidence soon and all the wings will unite to campaign for the party’s success in the upcoming polls.

PTI workers in Darsamand, Jozarah and Raeesan UCs of Hangu protested against the party’s district leadership over “the unfair distribution of tickets”.
Addressing the protest outside Hangu Press Club, PTI office bearer Asmat Bangash said district president Advocate Noor Awaz and MNA Khayal Zaman ignored deserving applicants during the process.
“Zaman lives 25 days of the month in Dubai. How can he do this to the party’s loyal workers?” he said, requesting party supremo Imran Khan to intervene.
