Undoubtedly, Pakistani cricket will be really dull and dry after Shahid Afridi’s retirement. Popularly known as Boom Boom Afridi, he is regarded to be one of the greatest cricketers of all time with his aggressive batting style. He has a natural cricketing style which is really entertaining as he is full of explosive energy. His game is unpredictable and his gait is very active and zealous which is why cricket lovers of every generation are constantly enthralled by him and his performance in the field.
He has time and again emerged prominently on to the world stage with his unpredictable performance. However, his recent decision to retire from One-Day International cricket is a source of disappointment for all his fans. It will be impossible for the world to discover another all-rounder like Afridi. Cricket will forever be a dull and insipid affair without his exciting performance in the field.
