DI Khan: Security plan for Muharram in place

The city has been divided into six zones, while 54 cameras have been installed at different locations.

The Muharram Security plan for Dera Ismail Khan was put into place on Tuesday, for maintaining peace during the holy month.

The city has been divided into six zones, while the police have installed 54 surveillance cameras at different locations to monitor the region.

More than 6,000 police personnel have been deployed in DI Khan, while it was also decided that Afghan refugees will not be allowed to enter the city during this time.

Meanwhile, pillion riding has also been banned and hotels and inns will remain closed.
