News of an Indian version of Game of Thrones surfaced a few weeks back and left us all speechless, some wondering “WHY?” others screaming out “NOOOOO yaar is ko toh chhor deytay” (They could have left this at least). However one individual in India took it up as an opportunity and designed what he thinks GoT will look like if India does release the much-loved HBO series.

Vishal Dutt, a New Dehli-based artist, decided to take a jab at the Indian GoT and uploaded his designs on Behance (online platform for artists to display their work) of what he thinks the characters will look like.

The artist wrote on his Behance project description, “I read that there's going to be an Indian remake of Game of Thrones *I-don't-want-to-live-on this-planet-anymore*. So I photoshopped some of my favorite GoT characters. The outcome amused me :).” These images are sure to leave you in fits of laughter.

The following designs are from his online portfolio:

Arya Stark

Eddard and Catelyn Stark

Khal Drogo

Lord Varys

Oberyn Martell

Tyrion Lannister

Daenerys Targaryen

His work soon followed praise and applaud as people came across his work and had a good laugh. Someone actually suggested that "Thrones" should have been replaced by the word takht.

While he is not the only one who enjoyed the rumoured news, a few other people took to Twitter to express their creativity on the desi GoT:
