Prestigious prize: Award for Malaysian defence chief

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain on Monday conferred the award of Nishan-i-Imtiaz (military) on General Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Haji Zulkifeli Bin Mohammad Zin, Chief of Defence Forces Malaysia, at a special investiture ceremony held at the Presidency. According to a press release, the president decorated General Zulkifeli in recognition of his services for expanding and strengthening defence partnership between Pakistan and Malaysia. Later, General Zulkifeli called on Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif at General Headquarters. According to ISPR, the two generals exchanged views on defence and security cooperation between both the countries and overall regional security situation.
