Women Empowerment: WCCI organises training session

MULTAN: An international expert delivered lectures and provided training to women entrepreneurs of south Punjab on import and export processes in a bid to build their capacity for enhanced exports at a two-day training workshop. The session was aimed at promoting traditional Pakistani products prepared by women that are regarded as a popular items in foreign markets and could fetch $20 billion per annum. The workshop titled ‘Training and Encouragement of Women Entrepreneurs for Exporting Products’ was organised by the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WCCI) Multan Division. International expert Zaheeruddin Dar explained how women entrepreneurs could get certification for their products, how to receive payments from foreign buyers in return for products’ supply, how to turn business into model business, and how to execute business plans.
