Man booked for trying to assault woman

ISLAMABAD:


The Khanna police have booked a man for forcing his way into the house of a woman allegedly with the intention of sexually assaulting her.


Nosheen Khan* lodged a complainant that Muhammad Raffi, who was allegedly drunk, made his way into her house, while she was alone and allegedly attempted to sexually assault her.

The complainant resisted and shouted for help following which the neighbours gathered upon but the alleged attacker by then had fled the scene, while allegedly leaving a pistol behind.

The police have registered a case, however, no arrest was made till the filing of this report.
