While suspending the lower court order, Justice Noorul Haq N Qureshi directed the former president to appear before the trial court on April 27. The court further said that the sessions court order would be revived if Musharraf fails to appear on the date.
In addition, the court also directed the counsel to submit an affidavit regarding the appearance of his client.
Musharraf had challenged the issuance of non-bailable warrants before the IHC on April 3.
On April 02, a district and sessions court had dismissed his one-day appearance exemption and issued the warrants with directions to forfeit surety bonds after Musharraf failed to appear before the court in the Ghazi Abdul Rasheed murder case.
