This or that? Nailing ‘casual’ in leather

Nothing yells laid-back better than leather jackets and black glares —  that’s what’s been officially established by queens of chic, Reese Witherspoon and Anne Hathaway. Both sported leather looks tastefully and hit bull’s eye scoring an informally enticing appeal.

Hair and make-up

The Legally Blonde stunner had her beachy blonde locks styled straight and showed off her flawless complexion paired with filled-in brows and subtle mauve pink glossy lipstick. Her understated makeup didn’t keep her from looking immaculate. She really is the girl of the moment.

Outfit

The Wild actor dressed in a blue and white print blouse with white polka dots and deep-blue skinny jeans that were cropped above the ankles. Spicing up her look, the star draped a black leather motorbike-style jacket over her shoulders and oozed the ‘biker chic’ flare.

Accessories

Carrying a large white tweed bag with a black geometric print and a smaller ivory-crème Michael Kors leather handbag, the star accessorised according to her relaxed outfit. She donned a pair of black original Ray ban wayfarer sunglasses to finish up her look.

Hair and make-up

Looking every inch of cool, the Les Miserables actor wore her brunette hair in a dressed-down ponytail, keeping a few wispy layers framing her face. The star rocked the no-makeup look like a pro. Au naturel seems to suit her but we wouldn’t have complained if she added a little base to omit the redness on her nose.

Outfit

Looking downcast as she strolled through the city in a leather biker jacket, Anne donned fitted black jeans and a black top under her jacket. She tied up a red plaid shirt on her hip as she stepped out in New York City, looking like a modish rebel with a cause.

Accessories

Anne styled her look with two casual travel bags and her cross-body leather Louis Vuitton purse. She kept the bling factor to a minimum by sporting a long jet rosary beads necklace, and nothing more. Her leather slip-on shoes added to her nonchalant appeal.
