PTI chairperson to arrive in Karachi tonight to start campaigning for NA-246 constituency

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairperson Imran Khan said on Wednesday that he will register a case against Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain if his party workers are harmed during the campaign for NA-246 by-elections, Express News reported.

Addressing the media outside his house in Bani Gala, Imran said he will be leaving for Karachi tonight to start campaigning for the by-polls scheduled to be held on April 23.

“Despite security concerns, I will go to Karachi,” the PTI chairperson said.

The NA-246 constituency is hustling and bustling due to the by-election scheduled for April 23. On April 4, MQM workers had allegedly attacked a PTI election camp in Karimabad and set the party flag on fire.

Speaking about the electoral rigging in 2013 general elections, Imran said since 1979, all elections have been rigged.

“The formation of the judicial commission is a big achievement for Pakistan,” he added.

With regards to Pakistan joining the Saudi-led military campaign in Yemen, the PTI chairperson said Pakistan should not send troops to the war-torn country.

M Saleem Chaudhry | 9 years ago | Reply If one evaluates the comments on this brief objectively,one can find how deeply indoctrinated ethnic followers manipulate and misrepresent the ground realities and there are more than enough to endorse to prove that to be actual fact. This is how the games are played to retain statusqo. However this can't go on for ever. The Engines of change like Imran Khan can transform the situation.
Ebaad | 9 years ago | Reply @Adnan Siddiqi: I can guarantee that a face like that would not help win even a union council seat in NA-246, let alone a national assembly seat. Going by your logic, the person you voted for in 2013 general elections; Nehal Hashmi deserved your vote only.
