The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) Industrial Estate Rawat would have direct access road from the GT Road, said RCCI President Syed Assad Mashahadi here on Tuesday.
In his address at the inaugural meeting of the newly-appointed RCCI Industrial Estate management board, he said that they were discussing the construction of a road link between the estate and GT Road with the Punjab Government, while expressing hope that work on the project would be initiated soon.
Mashahadi said the chamber was making efforts to reach a deal with authorities about uninterrupted power supply to the business and industrial units from 6am to 5pm in the industrial estate.
