IED explosion kills Levies officer in Bajaur

No one had claimed responsibility for the attack

PESHAWAR: A junior commissioned officer of Bajaur Levies forces was killed in an Improvise Explosive Deveise (IED) attack in Bajaur Agency on Monday morning.

Officials at Khar headquarter of Bajaur Agency informed that Sobedar Sultan Bakht was on his way to Government High School Badaan in Mamoond Area when the IED exploded. The IED, which was planted near the Government school, killed Sultan Bakht on the spot.

So far no one has claimed responsibility for the attack but officials in the political administration believe Taliban militants could be involved.
