Caught In Conflict: Family returns home from Yemen

Rehman said the war-torn country is not safe for foreigners any more

BATKHELA: A Pakistani family living in Yemen returned to its native Khar village in Malakand on Saturday. Talking to the media, Ziaur Rehman said he had gone to Yemen 10 years ago in search of employment opportunities. Rehman said the war-torn country is not safe for foreigners any more. The expatriate said he used to live in Taiz city and had to cross a number of check points established by the rebels in order to reach Sana’a from where they were repatriated.
