KARACHI:

Pervez Musharraf cannot travel due to problem in his spinal cord while an angiography needs to be administered for his heart problem, the medical board report suggests.

The special medical board submitted its report to the provincial health secretary on Thursday. The report recommends that the former military ruler also needs angiography due to problem in his arteries supplying blood to the heart.

The medical checkup was conducted at Musharraf’s Karachi residence in Zamzama. It was the first official medical board constituted by the Sindh government on the request of the Balochistan provincial government. The former president also showed his medical reports, including MIR and CT scan.  It is pertinent to mention that Musharraf has to appear before the Balochistan High Court on April 8 while his lawyers had submitted an application in the court seeking exemption for him from appearance.
