Signal-free corridor: Traders petition LHC to remove stay
“The signal-free corridor will also make the flow of traffic on the road smooth,” they stated.
LAHORE:
The Jail Road Traders’ Association on Thursday filed a petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) against a stay order passed against the construction of the signal-free corridor from Qartaba Chowk to Liberty Chowk, Gulberg. The association filed the petition through Advocate Asjad Saeed, stating that the project would boost business activities. “The signal-free corridor will also make the flow of traffic on the road smooth,” they stated. They said that commuters were facing problems due to the stoppage of work following the stay order. They have requested the court to remove the stay so that the project could be completed quickly.
