Lahore High Court on Wednesday set aside a six-year old order issued by a sessions judge regarding the registration of a crop-theft case against 10 Anjuman-i-Mazaareen workers in Okara. Abdul Razzaq, leader of the organisation, had challenged the 2009 order. His counsel Rabbiya Bajwa said the complainant had misled the court and had obtained an order for registration of a case to deprive mazareens of their rights. She asked the court to set aside the order. A police official said the complainant had not pursued the case for a long time. The court then set aside the order.
