FAISALABAD: Police said on Tuesday that a minor had been assaulted in Thikriwala area. Nadeem Hussain, an uncle of the victim, said his nephew was going to school when Allah Ditta overpowered him. He said the suspect had taken the boy to a deserted location and raped him. Hussain said Ditta had fled from the spot after his nephew started screaming for help. The Thikriwala SHO said a police team had been constituted to nab the absconding suspect. He said further action would be taken following the receipt of a medico legal report.
