Looking svelte in a sleek black one shoulder gown, Katrina Kaif posed next to her flawless wax clone. The statue was dressed in a glittery white and pink lehenga wearing colourful bangles looking the part of a glamorous Bollywood actress. The clone cost $222,295, took over four months and a team of 20 sculptors to bring to life. The actress had to give precise measurements for her figure and worked alongside the sculpting team to make sure the statue looked to a T and replicated her perfectly.

But this statue did not come easy, Kat was put through a fierce battle in Madame Tussauds’ hotly contested website poll against Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone, and emerged the winner with a staggering 2,22,000 votes.
This pretty lady is the seventh Bollywood celebrity honoured with a figure at Madame Tussauds joining Amitabh Bachchan (2000), Aishwarya Rai (2004), Shah Rukh Khan (2007), Salman Khan (2008), Hrithik Roshan (2011) and Madhuri Dixit-Nene (2012).
For all those unfortunate souls who never got a chance to take a picture with the real Katrina Kaif, you can just hop on over to Madame Tussauds and take a selfie with her wax figure!
