ISLAMABAD:
The Ministry of Industries has delved into fresh controversies over issue of ‘like and dislikes’ and appointments in different institutions following the comeback of Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi as the minister in charge.
Officials familiar with the development said Minister of Industries Murtaza Jatoi is pushing for immediate removal of secretary and additional secretary in the department to appoint his blue-eyed officials to enjoy full powers.
Jatoi has reportedly proposed names of Mahmood Ahsan Raja, Dr Khawar Jameel and Misbah Tanio for the two posts. The prime minister has tasked top bureaucrat working in Prime Minister Secretariat to resolve the issue, the officials said.
